Australian Wedding Traditions

Australian brides, like many brides in the rest of the world, still wear the traditional white wedding dress. A bible is typically given as a wedding gift, and is kept as a memorable family souvenir for future generations.

The traditions of the rest of the western world are all followed Australia - the exchange of rings, the wedding cake and the reception attended by friends and extended family.
